ABOUT US
Kelbrand CAM's roots date back to 1987, when Grant Renda worked in the family-owned business, Renda Electrical. The company was a respected name in the switchboard manufacturing, petrochemical, HVAC, and commercial refrigeration industry for more than 34 years.
In 2001, Grant obtained his Master Installation Electrician's licence, further expanding his expertise in the electrical industry.
In 2006, Renda Electrical assumed responsibility for the switchboard manufacturing division, while Grant established his own company, Kelbrand Electric.

During this time, we relied on an imported CNC machine to engrave labels for electrical switchboard panels. After working with the machine for some time, we recognised several areas where its design and performance could be improved.
Driven by a passion for robotics and automation, Grant began designing and building what would become Kelbrand CAM's first CNC router. That machine was successfully sold and remains in operation to this day, marking the beginning of Kelbrand CAM's journey into CNC technology.

In 2017, Grant's son, Brandon Renda, joined the team.
Working together, they continued refining the design of Kelbrand CAM's CNC machines while developing new features and accessories to further enhance the product range.
In 2020, Kelbrand CAM introduced its first CNC plasma table, expanding its already well-established line of CNC solutions.

Fast forward to today, and Kelbrand CAM continues to focus on the same core goals:
-
Striving for the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
-
Manufacturing top-quality, reliable CNC machines right here in South Africa.
-
Continuously developing new products, features, and innovations to improve our CNC systems.
-
Providing local support to keep our customers up and running for years to come.
Our CNC router machines are designed and manufactured from the ground up at our factory in Killarney Gardens, Cape Town. Using high-quality materials and state-of-the-art equipment, we build every machine to meet our customers' requirements
